Caroline and the children found a dead Kestrel at the front of the house today. I looked like it had flown into a window and died. The interesting thing about it was that it was ringed. Caroline did a bit of research and found out that it belonged to someone in Brussels, Belgium. Thats a flight of about 530kms (330 miles).

Caroline is going to phone up and at least let the owner know what happened to his bird.
